The Happold Foundation is thrilled to introduce our new logo, marking an exciting milestone in the development of the charity, what we do and our identity.
Our previous logo supported us well, but we felt it was time to update and move on to a design that better represented the Happold Foundation’s work and how we plan to move forward in the future. We invited everyone in Buro Happold to take part in a design competition to create a logo that aligns with the ethos and values of the Foundation. The logo is the starting point for a wider, long-term project to update and improve the Foundation’s visual identity.
We had a number of brilliant, high-quality designs submitted and after a lot of deliberation the winning entry, designed by Associate Sustainability Consultant Jean Paul Peteza, was chosen by the Happold Foundation’s Trustees.

Speaking about the inspiration behind his design, Jean Paul explained, “It is more than just a logo or a brand, it is also a symbol. A symbol that depicts The Happold Foundation’s mission as well as its collective efforts towards building a better world for future generations, adding value to the planet and the people through the power of engineering”.
Tom Newby, Trustee of the Happold Foundation, said “We are pleased to move forward with a fresh, new, modern logo which nicely encapsulates the maturity of the Foundation”.
