Sarah Sachs

Sarah Sachs has been with BuroHappold for over 10 years working in the built environment. With a background in mechanical engineering, she focuses on the integration of all engineering disciplines with design and sustainability. Her work encompasses all stages of the design process from planning to post occupancy evaluation and is inclusive of new construction, renovations and fit-outs.

Sarah has extensive international project experience and has worked on educational, commercial, cultural and residential projects as well as master planning and detailed energy/technology studies. A dedicated practitioner of sustainable design, Sarah utilizes her expertise beyond project work and has been involved in sharing her knowledge in the classroom at Cooper Union, Columbia and Yale University.

As the North American Trustee, she leads the Happold Foundation’s collaboration with the ACE Mentoring Program.
