At the Happold Foundaton, we believe that our industry has both an obligation and the skills to take the lead in finding solutions to the world’s most challenging issues.
We want to work with people who share our commitment to taking steps to improve the things that make a difference. By working together, we can create a strong community of talented people who can really influence our world.
We want to ensure we have the biggest impact possible by inviting all of our past, present and future partners to join us and help achieve our goals. You could be a Happold scholar we have supported, or an industry expert who believes in the same values we do. You might be a charity similar to ours, or a graduate wanting to inspire other young people. Our community is diverse, and we want to hear from you.
From spending time in schools introducing young people to engineering to helping us to run thought leadership events for those working in the built environment, there are numerous ways our community can offer their support. We want as many like-minded people as possible to offer a small amount of their time to partner with us and help us make a positive change.
UN Sustainable Development Goals: our views on the next steps
The Happold Foundation recently attended the 2018 Global Engineering Congress, where we participated in workshops and discussions about the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. Following the event, our Alumni team has put together a series of blogs about specific SDGs and how the engineering sector can play a role in implementing them.
Our Community Ambassadors
Our Community Ambassadors provide invaluable support, representing the Happold Foundation and the work that we do. Our volunteers are the key contacts for our alumni and young professional groups, and play an integral role in arranging our workshop and design sprint events.
